The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the level of competitiveness at the enterprises of the meat industry. The dissertation proposed a conceptual approach to the formation of a mechanism for enhancing the competitiveness of meat industry enterprises, which, unlike the existing ones, included in the system organizational, economic and financial-investment component, in particular, it was proposed to create a cluster at the level of the region, which will include such a component as a coordinator, which will allow for improved cost management and financial and investment activities. The definition of the concept of "competitiveness" has been improved; functions that compete with the enterprise and their relationship; methodical approach to the evaluation of indicators that affect the level of competitiveness of the meat industry.
