Essay

The Haemo-QoL questionnaire for children with hemophilia has been validated in the thesis with the aim to comply with national (Ukrainian) conditions. The main features of the quality of life related to the disease in children aged 4-16 with severe hemophilia A based on age, treatment method, disease clinical and therapeutic parameters have been studied. The subjective characteristics of disease such as awareness on disease, strange feelings in joints, their impact on establishing the children's quality of life have been examined. The peculiarities of evaluation of the quality of life manifested by children and by their parents have been discovered. The epidemiological and clinical characteristics of the severe form of hemophilia A in Ukraine have been analyzed.
