Theoretical and methodical bases of the formation of economic efficiency of enterprises of poultry farming are investigated. The essence of efficiency of economic category, its classification features, process of economic efficiency formation, methodical approaches to determination of economic efficiency are considered. The conceptual and categorical apparatus is improved in terms of specification of the entity of economic categories "economic efficiency of poultry enterprises", systematization of theoretical approaches to identify the stages of evolution of the term "efficiency" and Theoretical principles of formation of economic efficiency enterprises poultry farming.
