Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and organizational aspects of managing the formation and implementation of programs for sustainable economic development. In particular, a complex theoretical generalization has been made and a new solution to the scientific and practical problem has been proposed, which is manifested in the development and justification of the organizational and economic mechanism for managing the formation and implementation of relevant programs, taking into account the motivational needs for economic growth and adherence to sustainable economic development. The modern practice of forming and implementing sustainable development programs has been systematically analyzed and systematized, methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of multi-level sustainable development programs of the Ukrainian economy have been identified and developed, an instrumental apparatus for the formation and implementation of such programs under conditions of structural changes has been developed. The organizational and economic mechanism for managing the formation and implementation of programs for sustainable economic development as a holistic hierarchical management system for integrating both the overall institutional hardware and functional tools and a set of interrelated organizational and economic levers has been synthesized. The concept of «sustainable economic development» is clarified and supplemented; the factor of interaction of achievements of scientific and technological progress in production is singled out.
