The object is innovative activity in industry as a tool for ensuring the economic security of the state; the purpose is to improve the existing directions and to develop new ones for ensuring the economic security of Ukraine, taking into account innovative activity in industry at the legislative level; methods: theoretical search, historical, dialectical, abstract-logical, system analysis, synthesis, economic-statistical, comparative, graphic, economic-mathematical; the novelty is the development of practical recommendations for finding and implementing the directions of ensuring the economic security of the state, taking into account innovative activity in the Ukrainian industry at the legislative level; results: influence of innovative activity in the industry of Ukraine on the economic security of the state is determined and implemented in educational and production processes.
