Munika N. Institutionalization of Ukraine social and economic development in decentralized context

The thesis deals with the development of theoretical and methodological approaches and justification of practical recommendations for institutionalization of Ukraine social and economic development in decentralized context. Essential characteristics and factors contributing to the institutionalization of social and economic development are highlighted; the process of decentralization as a tool for institutionalization implementation of social and economic development is investigated, a methodological framework for assessing the impact of institutionalization on the level of economic development is proposed. The term "institutionalization of social and economic development of the national economy" is defined as the process of transforming social intentions into a form through formation, consolidation, constant crystallization and transformation of relevant institutions that should ensure effective implementation of institutional changes. The level of social and economic development of Ukraine was monitored; functioning of modern institutions of social and economic development on the basis of international comparative systems is investigated; efficiency of decentralization as a significant instrument of social and economic development of the country is determined. Strategic priorities of institutional transformations of social and economic development of national economy are elaborated; the concept of formation of favorable institutional environment in decentralization context is proposed, determinants of spatial development are justified. An imitation model has been formed which helped to identify key factors of influence on competitiveness of the state that allow to determine close connection between its provision and indicators characterizing their social and economic status, to investigate the impact of its individual factors (innovation, investment, production, human potential), to define measures of intensification of the state social and economic development in order to ensure their competitiveness in the market of goods and services what determines country’s overall rating at the international level.
