Thesis is devoted to more effective diagnostics and treatment of essential hypertension stage II in men with androgen deficiency by studying serum levels of testosterone and prolactin, parameters of 24h blood pressure monitoring, central aortic pressure, cardiovascular remodeling. It has been established that the presence of androgen deficiency in men with stage II hypertension leads to an increase in the average daily values of blood pressure and its variability in 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (24-BPM), the formation of an unfavorable daily blood pressure profile, an increase in cardiovascular risk. It also contributes to the development of dyslipidemia, structural and functional rearrangement of the heart and blood vessels. The effect of combined antihypertensive therapy with irbesartan and nifedipine with the addition of phenibut on values of BP in 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (24-BPM) and parameters of cardiovascular remodeling in men with stage II hypertension was clarified, taking into account the effect of the prescribed treatment regimen on the levels of total, free testosterone and prolactin.
