The dissertation is devoted to the study of the features of the course of generalized periodontitis (GP) I and II stages of development in patients with concomitant stable coronary heart disease (CHD) and without concomitant pathology, aged 35 ‒ 64 years (192 persons) and to develop a method of improving the effectiveness of its treatment. The correlation between the presence of concomitant stable CHD and changes in the condition of periodontal tissues, immunological and biochemical parameters in the oral fluid and blood of patients with GP has been established. The proposed method of complex treatment contributed to the stabilization of GP, which allows to recommend it for use in practical dentistry.
