Diakovskyi O. Legal support for the protection of personal data

Thesis is devoted to the research of legal support of protection of personal data. The paper analyzes such new concepts for legal science as «personal data», «turnover of personal data», «database», «inheritance of the right to the database of personal data», etc. It is concluded that only a comprehensive use of methods will eliminate methodological weaknesses of theoretical studies on the theory of personal data and the solution of practical problems of legal regulation of protection of personal data, since methodological insufficiency causes theoretical failure scientific research and, as a consequence, their inapplicability in practice.
