Essay

The object of the study is the processes of phaselockingofsolid-state signal sources in the millimeter wavehigh resolution measuring systems. The purpose of the study is to develop a method of phase synchronization of the frequency of signal sources on IMPATT diodesmultipliers and a method of unambiguous measuring the phase in real time to increase the informativeness and quality of physical experiments in radiospectroscopy, interferometry of high-temperatureplasmaand microwave devices electrodynamic characteristics research.Methods are used in the work, based on the theoretical analysis and experimental measurements of phase synchronization and on the digital signal processing methods.The method of phase synchronization of the frequency of an active IMPATT diode multipliers in a two-mm heterodyne vector analyzer has been developed, which provides an error of phase measurement of 0.1°, a dynamic range of 80 dB and a frequency resolution of ~ 100 Hz. A method of an unambiguous phase measurement in a two-frequency two-mm waveheterodyne interferometer was developed, which allows measuring and controlling the density of high-temperature plasma in real time. Fields of application: radiospectroscopy, plasma physics, applied radiophysics.
