Essay

In the dissertation, the results of the complex clinical-laboratory and instrumental examination of 110 children aged from 3 to 17 years (average age was 10.5±1.1 years) with bronchopulmonary pathology were used: 80 children with recurrent bronchitis, 30 children with chronic bronchitis. The performed research has determined that the course of recurrent and chronic bronchitis in children of different age has a number of clinical peculiarities. There were identified risk factors for recurrent broncho-pulmonary diseases in children. It was found, that their development is associated with burdened hereditary anamnesis, extragenital pathology in mothers, pathology of labor, complicated by the perinatal period (asphyxia in childbirth, chronic intrauterine hypoxia, pneumonia of the newborn, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and perinatal CNS damage). With the help of computer phonospirography, time, frequency characteristics, intensity and the presence of additional respiratory noises in children of different age groups, ill with recurrent and chronic bronchitis in the period of exacerbation and remission, were determined. It was found, that exacerbation of RB is characterized by the reduction of duration, expansion of the frequency range and increase in intensity of inhalation and exhalation. It is shown that in case of chronic bronchitis there is a probable shortening of the duration of the respiratory cycle and its individual phases, decrease of the frequency range and the intensity of respiratory noises, even in the remission period. For the first time, the method of computer phonospirography is used to evaluate the efficacy of treatment for children with recurrent and chronic bronchitis.
