Essay

The object of research – discourse of military threat in social networks; the purpose of research – to substantiate theoretically and determine empirically social-psychological features of military threat discourse in social networks; methods: to solve currently set tasks, we used complex of research methods: theoretical: generalization, systematization, modeling; empirical: discourse-analysis, narrative analysis, informal interviewing, formalized questioning, observation, content-analysis, testing, ascertaining and formative experiments; mathematical processing of data with their further qualitative interpretation and semantic generalization. Scientific novelty of research: conceptual analysis of scientific approaches to the study of discourse of military threat in social networks was conducted, in particular from the view of structuralist approach; the narratives of the military threat presented in social networks (inversion of the social hierarchy and values; mythologization of traditional values of counteraction to the military threat) are distinguished, the realization of which is achieved in particular through the use of mythological constructs of thinking, images of historical cycles and gender stereotypes; the types of individual response to discourse of military threat in social networks are determined and their social-psychological content is revealed; the social-psychological features of the individual regarding the perception of discourse of military threat in social networks are revealed and their differentiation is performed; the system of social-psychological measures aimed to neutralize the destructive influence of discourse of military threat in social networks on the personality through the development of its critical thinking, personal and social reflection, frustration tolerance and constructive perception of manipulative influences, reducing social anxiety as a whole, is developed and the effectiveness of this system is proved; extended and specified: interpretation of military threat as situation that has its own peculiarities, not identical to extreme situations, and needs its own understanding of reality/imagination through the involvement of social-psychological phenomena; acquired further development: approaches to the tools and technologies of the system of social-psychological measures aimed to neutralize the destructive influence of discourse of military threat in social networks on the personality, in particular the concept of social anxiety and appropriate methods of psycho-corrective intervention; branch: psychology.
