Dissertation for the candidate biological sciences degree (Doctor of Philosophy) in specialty 03.00.01 – radiobiology . – State Institution “National Research Center for Radiation Medicine of Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”. Kyiv, 2019. The dissertation is dedicated to the in vitro study on the experimental model of organotypic primary culture of thyroid gland cells in rats influencing prenatal irradiation with radioiodine iodine-131. Established structural and functional indices of thyrocytes (structure and morphology of cell culture, proliferative and mitotic activity, micronucleus induction, apoptosis) in the two generations of rats whose parents were preconceptually irradiated a day before pairing and prenatally irradiated with iodine-131 on 12-14 days of gestational age New data were obtained on the violation of the structure and differentiation of thyroid gland cells in rats at prenatal irradiation with radioactive iodine-131 in different gestational periods, induction of damage to the genetic material of cells, which may cause induced genome instability.
