In the dissertation the necessity of diagnostics of economic security of agricultural enterprises is proved, which gives the opportunity to respond in time to changes in the internal and external environment, to increase competitive advantages and to promote the profitability of the enterprise in the long run. The basic approaches to understanding the essence and content of economic security are systematized. Practical recommendations on the formation and implementation of the system of diagnostics of economic security of agricultural enterprises have been developed. The innovative component of polystructural process of forming and diagnostics of economic security of the enterprise is determined. Ways to improve the system of modeling the process of forming the economic security of enterprises in the conditions of their innovative development are revealed. The influence of investment security and size of agricultural enterprise on its economic security is substantiated. Principal methodological approaches to activating the potential of economic security of an agricultural enterprise have been comprehensively studied.
