Ometsynska V. Criminal legal protection of sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of a child

General conclusion and new solution of the scientific problems of criminal legal protection of sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of a child are made in the thesis. The main attention is focused on establishing the state of development of relevant issues in scientific sources, defining the system of criminal law aimed at protecting the child as a whole and his sexual freedom and sexual inviolability in particular under the current Criminal Code of Ukraine. Therefore, the system of norms aimed at criminal protection of sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of a child is: p. 2, 3 Art. 149, p. 3, 4 Art. 152, p. 3, 4 Art. 153, Art. 154, Art. 155, Art. 156, p. 2, 4 Art. 301, p. 3, 4 Art. 302, p. 3, 4 Art. 303 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The correspondence of the national legislation in this part to the international legal acts and the modern European legislation is analyzed. A detailed description of the composition of such crimes, the features that differentiate responsibility for their commission, and the limits of the punishment of such offenses. Deficiencies in the criminal justice provision for the protection of sexual freedom and sexual integrity of the child have been identified and ways of their elimination have been suggested.
