The thesis solves the problem of a comprehensive investigation of features of a clinical course of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, that has developed against the ground of obesity and osteoarthritis, intensity of endotoxicosis, metabolic disorders against the ground of insulin resistance and adipocytokine imbalance, interdependence of these changes with the degree of obesity and effect of repeated courses of nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs for the treatment of osteoarthrosis, reasonability to administer a comprehensive therapy with methadoxine and guar gum in rehabilitation of patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, osteoarthritis and obesity, which enabled significantly to improve the effectiveness of treatment. The regularities and clinical features of the course of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and its progression from the point of view of the established correlation of the degree of endotoxicosis, oxidative and nitrosative stress, excessive plasma proteolysis, hyper- and dyslipidemia, impaired glucose tolerance against the ground of insulin resistance, hyperleptinemia, hypoadiponectinemia) and increased intensity of apoptosis (hyperproduction of cytokeratin-18), made it possible to formulate new links in pathogenesis of compromised nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, osteoarthritis and obesity to develop a new way of correction using modern means of therapy: methadoxine and guar gum.
