Ranevych O. Constitutional Principles of Social Security Law

The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of constitutional declaration and realization of the right to social protection in Ukraine. The work provides definition of the constitutional principles of social security law, content of the right to social protection and social security. Their application scope is elucidated; constitutional grounds for man’s social protection in the event of their disablement, loss of the principal wage-earner, involuntary unemployment as well as in the old age, are clarified. The constitutional principles that provide such guarantees as social insurance, creation of social centres or institutions and provision of social payments not less than a subsistence level, are outlined.
