Bilanyuk O. Development of the cross-border tourist market in the conditions of Ukraine's integration into the EU

Object of study: development processes of the Ukrainian-Polish cross-border tourist market. Purpose: substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations and development of practical recommendations on the development of the cross-border tourist market in the conditions of integration of Ukraine into the European economic space. Methods: logical generalization, analysis, comparison and synthesis, structural, factor, correlation analysis, decomposition, strategic analysis, graphical and matrix. Novelty: the conceptual foundations of the development of the Ukrainian-Polish cross-border tourist market by implementing the principles of smart specialization; scientific provisions for strategizing the development of cross-border tourism markets between Ukraine and the EU countries, based on the principles of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth; methodological approaches to regulating the development of cross-border tourist markets, in particular the expediency of transferring from the state authorities to the local self-government bodies the weight of the relevant administrative powers, the need to improve the institutional basis for the participation of territorial communities as full-fledged entities of transnational cooperation to European standards were improved. Scope of application: in the development of recommendations for the analysis, evaluation, forecasting and regulation of the development of the Ukrainian-Polish cross-border tourist market in the context of activation of European integration processes; in the activity of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration and in the work of the LLC MIST-TOUR JSC; in the educational process of the Faculty of Geography of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in teaching the disciplines "International Tourism", "Topical Problems of Tourism and Services", "Tourist Services Market".
