Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of cultural education and training of prospective commissioned officers of radio engineering specialties in the context of acmeological approach. The paper describes the state of the problem in the theory and methodology of professional education. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the key concepts of the research («culture», «cultural education and training of prospective commissioned officers of radio engineering specialties», «cultural competence of prospective commissioned officers of radio engineering specialties», «acmeological cultural environment») have been defined. Leading scientific approaches to the investigation of the cultural education and training of prospective commissioned officers of radio engineering specialties (systemic, activity-oriented, self-oriented, competent, axiological, acmeological and synergistic) have been substantiated. The acmeological approach has been determined as a system-forming in the framework of the researched problem. Within the scientific investigation, the cultural education and training of prospective commissioned officers of radio engineering specialties in the context of acmeological approach is interpreted as the process of acmeological influence on the cadets’ personal development, which provides not only the acquiring cultural and acmeological knowledge, skills and personal qualities, but also understanding and comparing "I-ideal" with "I-real", which under the influence of external acmeological factors, in the conditions of cultural environment and sustainable motivation leads to self-development, self-correction and positive self-concept formation. Acme is not an ideal image, but a constant movement to it through the correlation of the real characteristics of the cadets' cultural development with the optimal model of self-development. The structure of the cadets’ cultural competence, which forms in acmeological cultural environment, has been developed and scientifically substantiated. The determined competence belongs to general (universal) competencies (which should be obtained by a commissioned officer), that are independent of the special academic subjects area, but important for the successful further professional and sociocultural activities of the cadets in various fields and for personal development. The competence includes the following components: value-motivational (forming prospective commissioned officers’ motivation for cultural interaction and developing their professional-communicative interests), content-cognitive (acquiring cultural knowledge while studying the disciplines of the humanitarian cycle and «Cultural education and training of prospective commissioned officers of radio engineering specialties in the acmeological cultural environment» special course), interactive (developing cadets’ cultural skills during professional activities) and person-reflective (gaining personal qualities by the prospective commissioned officers). Criteria, indicators and levels of its development have been determined. The author's model of the development of cultural competence of the prospective commissioned officers of radio engineering specialties in the context of acmeological approach is presented. The effectiveness of its implementation into the educational process of institutions of higher military education by means of step-by-step technology has been experimentally tested. According to the results of the experimental work, positive changes in all components of the cadets' cultural competence have been revealed. Prospects for further scientific researches are outlined.
