Streltsova N. Public administration in the sphere of information services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to the complex research of administrative and legal principles of organization of the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the sphere of providing information services. The role of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the field of information services has been identified and substantiated. The features of the ratio of information services and information security are distinguished. The mechanism of legal regulation is outlined and the Ministry of Internal Affairs is characterized as a subject of public administration of information services in Ukraine. The classification of information services was carried out and administrative justification was provided for the means of regulating public administration by such services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Based on systematisation of foreign experience, it is recommended to propose directions of improvements for public control and mechanism of legal regulation provision of information services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
