Besides, different directions for their improvement, taking into account the historical genesis, domestic and foreign experience of interaction of territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine with local authorities are studied in this research. A number of new scientific provisions, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions are formulated as a result of the research. The genesis of the interaction of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine with local authorities is characterized. The essence and significance of the interaction of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine with local authorities are determined. The goal, tasks and principles of interaction of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine with local authorities are formulated. The administrative and legal regulation of the interaction of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine with local authorities is characterized.
