Galuk A. Administrative and Legal Principles of the Activities of the National Police of Ukraine on Preventing and Combating Drug Addiction at the Regional Level

The dissertation is focused on the analysis of administrative and legal principles of the activities of the National Police of Ukraine on preventing and combating drug addiction at the regional level. The author has defined the essence of activities on preventing and combating drug addiction at the regional level as an object of administrative and legal regulation. The place of the National Police of Ukraine in the system of subjects of preventing and combating drug addiction at the regional level has been clarified. Legal principles of the activities of the National Police of Ukraine on preventing and combating drug addiction at the regional level have been revealed and the place of the norms of administrative legislation among them has been found out. The content of preventive activity of territorial police agencies in the sphere of regulating the circulation of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances has been outlined. The author has characterized peculiarities of considering administrative offenses by the territorial police units related to the illegal production, purchase, storage, transportation, trafficking of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances. Directions of interaction of territorial police agencies with other subjects have been elaborated.
