Essay

University education of Canada is the research object. The research aim is to identify peculiarities of professional training of Bachelors in the field of law at the universities of Canada and to develop scientific and methodological recommendations on the use of progressive ideas and experience of Canada at the universities of Ukraine. The research methods: analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction and generalization, systematization and classification, comparison and critical thinking, observations, dialogues, interviewing. For the first time the peculiarities of professional training of Bachelors in the field of law at the universities of Canada have been identified; organizational and pedagogical principles of professional training of Bachelors in the field of law at the universities of Canada on the basis of the elaborated model of professional training of Bachelors in the field of law including legal framework, theory and methodology, content, and operation components have been outlined; as a result of conducting comparative pedagogical analysis, common and distinctive features of professional training of legal specialists in Canada and Ukraine have been identified; scientific and methodological recommendations on the use of advanced ideas of Canadian experience of professional training of Bachelors in the field of law in university education of Ukraine have been developed. The notions “Bachelor in Law”, “legal specialist” have been clarified. The ideas of organization of professional training of legal specialists on the basis of the complex use of traditional and innovative teaching and learning methods, information and communication technologies, close collaboration of universities with non-governmental organizations and prospective employers have gained further development.
