Essay

Object of research – is the workability of node connections of wooden I-beams in shells and polygonal coatings; goal ─ development of knot joints of wooden I-beams and substantiation of their bearing capacity and deformability in the composition of shells and polygonal structures; methods ─ research is carried out using methods of study, analysis and generalization of literary sources, formulation of research goals and objectives, systematic approach to experimental in-situ and theoretical studies using static methods, deformation theory, modern criteria of bearing capacity of wood and metals. Determination of calculated reliability of full-scale structures according to the suggested recommendations, reliability theory, probabilistic-statistical analysis of random variables and processes. Mathematical theory of experiment planning, numerical calculation methods using modern software systems, comparison of experimental data with the results of calculations and their analysis, formulation of the main conclusions; results ─ the proposed connecting joints of wooden I-beams with steel tubular elements structurally worked out, tested on full-scale elements and brought to practical use; the developed hub joints of wooden I-beams substantially complement the existing bank of hub joints of load-bearing shell structures and polygonal coatings; the proposed simulations of complex stress-strain state and the joint work of the proposed nodal connections with the specified spatial structures, by nonlinear finite element calculations, open additional possibilities of the software complexes "ANSYS WORKBENCH" and "LIRA-CAD" in the back of the rear; implemented ─ results of experimental-theoretical researches of the dissertation are implemented in the practice of object design and in the educational process of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in preparation of masters of construction profile.
