Kalytvyanska V. V. Danilov's scientific-historical heritage

The life and activities of V. Danilov – one of the key figures in the historical science of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century are comprehensively studied in the dissertation. The state of research of the topic is analyzed, a representative source base is formed, the methodology and conceptual strategy of the research are worked out. The main milestones of V. Danilov's scientific activity are traced. The basic biographical stages of V. Danilov's life were studied through the prism of social and political processes of that-time society. It has been found that historiographic studies accounted for much of his research work. His scientific heritage is represented by archeographic, publishing, historiographic activity. The author's chronology of intellectual biography of V. Danilov is developed and substantiated. Research the intellectual biography of V. Danilov provided an opportunity to expand the conception of formation the scientific worldview of the scientist, to distinguish the peculiarities of the scientific style of thinking of the scientist. Research the biography of V. Danilov, exploration of his scientific concepts made it possible to distinguish the place of a scientist in the professional scientific community.
