The dissertation has been devoted to create of new epoxy-polyester composite materials and coatings based on them with improved adhesion, physical and mechanical properties, water abrasion resistance for technological equipment, which is influenced by external factors. Physical and mechanical and thermophysical properties of epoxy-polyester composites filled with nano-, microdispersed additives and discrete fibers were investigated. The optimum content of fillers and discrete fibers in the epoxy polyester binder has been experimentally established. The mathematical planning of the experiment optimized the composition of the main and additional filler for the formation of functional purpose coatings. Improved operational characteristics of the developed materials are ensured as a result of the improvement of interphase interaction in the process of their formation. As a result of the experimental researches, composite materials with nano-, microdispersed fillers and discrete fibers have been developed, the technology of their formation and application with the purpose of increasing the operational characteristics of parts operating under the influence of aggressive media, alternating temperatures. The results of the work were implemented on the ship "Sabada" of the shipowner company "Avrey Commerce Ltd." (Seychelles) during its repair in the Limited Liability Company "Sigran" in the territory of Kherson Shipbuilding Plant named after. Comintern (Ukraine, Kherson).
