Ishchenko A. Organizational and economic bases of crop production in private farms

The evolution of the development of personal peasant farms of the population has been systematized, and the factors that characterize their specificity of their activity, as well as the common features of PF functioning, have been identified. It is argued that personal peasant farms are agricultural producers, and their specific socio-economic nature of these entities is manifested in the fulfillment of the functions of direct reproduction of agricultural households as a socio-economic phenomenon. It is proved that the concept of "household" is more capacious than "personal peasant economy", but with the increase of marketability of farms and the size of their land the differences between the two forms of management are erased. The author defines the category of "personal peasant economy", the main differences of which are: activities include production, processing and sale of products; manifestation of social and anti-crisis aspects of functioning that affect the transformation of personal peasant farms into the main source of material benefits of rural residents in conditions of insufficient or absent employment in social production.
