Essay

In the dissertation the complex research of theoretical foundations of formation and development of personal peasant farms of Ukraine is conducted with substantiation of conceptual approach to consideration of this category by its content and form. Methodological approaches to the study of trends and patterns of PF functioning in the agricultural sphere of the country's economy have been developed and formulated. The methodology of research and the conceptual apparatus "personal peasant economy", its place and role in the decision of food supply of the country have been deepened. The economic nature of personal farms is considered as a manifestation of them in the form of carriers of regulators of internal and external relations. The regularities of development of personal peasant farms are grounded, the basis of which is developed the strategy of "sustainability", the purpose of which is the primary provision of foodstuffs to the members of the agricultural household, as well as the urban residents, with whom the members of PF are in family relations. It is theoretically proved and empirically confirmed that one of the main factors of functioning of social cooperation in the process of production and distribution of agricultural products in private peasant farms is the manifestation of the characteristic features of the rural community (family, neighborhood ties, etc.), in which at the beginning of the last century coexistence existed. as a means of protecting the socio-economic interests of the rural community during the period of manifestation of destructive phenomena in the social life of society. The calculations prove that they are based on the non-equivalence of the exchange between the amount of labor spent and material remuneration. However, with this approach, an appropriate mutual insurance mechanism is formed in case of an unforeseen, even extreme, situation.
