The dissertation is devoted to the research of the current state of administrative and legal regulation of information and administrative relations concerning the use of personal data. The procedure for ensuring the right to privacy of individuals through the mechanism of protection of their personal data in the work of subjects of power is considered. The range of relationships that arise in the process of processing personal data by the subjects of power is determined. Author's notions of personal data, administrative and legal regulation of personal data use are formulated, elements of the corresponding mechanism are defined.
