The dissertation is devoted to the implementation of the administrative and legal characteristics of managerial decisions in the activities of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine. Besides, the features of the mechanism for their development, adoption and implementation are studied as well. In order achieve a scientific goal, the author uses a comprehensive scientific analysis of legal norms and clarification of the doctrinal approaches of administrative law of Ukraine and as a result, a characteristic of the management and its types in the activities of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine was made. Also the essence of the concept and types of managerial decisions in the activities of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine were revealed in the research. A special attention is paid to the study of special issues of the mechanism for the development, adoption and implementation of managerial decisions in the activities of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine. Especially, such key categories of the studied mechanism are analyzed as: subjects of managerial decision-making in the activities of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, stages of preparation and adoption of these management decisions. Legal features of key concepts and categories were highlighted and researched. The definition of specialized terms for the development, adoption and implementation of managerial decisions in the activities of the territorial bodies of the National Police is proposed in the research. The content and essence of legal institutions of the specified sphere is revealed. Such concept as “Management decision in the activities of the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine” was defined as committed by the subject of management within the requirements of the current legal regulation and in the appropriate form of expression of will of an organizational, executive, administrative or subordinate nature. This concept is based on the analysis of the actual circumstances and features of the control object, which defines specific goals, objectives, state of legal relations to be achieved, ways, methods, means of achieving them, establishes the specific resources necessary to implement the decision, establishes the specific resources necessary to implement the decision, as well as the circle of persons who are entrusted with its implementation or to whom the decision applies. This research is aimed at identifying existing problems of legal regulation of the system of managerial decisions in the activities of territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine. Also it is aimed at determining effective ways to improve this managerial decision, among which, first of all, is introducing amendments to the current legislation. In this context, the foreign experience in the organization of the management training cycle, adoption and implementation of managerial decisions of the territorial police is defined. And possible ways of implementation it in Ukraine are outlined.
