Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the actual scientific and applied problem of increasing the traction and clutch qualities of wheeled mover with the large-sized pneumatic tyres for earth-moving machines. The shape of the longitudinal contact line of tyre with the support surface wheel rolling has been analytically described. It is represented by variable radius of curvature and takes into account the regularities of deformation of the tire and soil. On this basis was received a number of characteristic interaction dependences of the tyre wheeled mover with the support surface. They are caused by slippage of the tyre components in the contact and allow to clarify the physical nature of the process. The deformability of tyre and soil in mathematical model are represented the fundamental rheological elements of infinitely small volumes. Elements are combined in a functional structure and simultaneously deformed radially towards to the axis of wheel. This enabled display the deflected mode in the contact. The researches were received the equations, enables more precise engineering calculations traction and clutch qualities of wheeled mover at rectilinear motion. The methods of calculation and construction of the theoretical traction characteristics for wheeled mover taking into account the geometrical and operating tyre parameters and the physical and mechanical soil properties are developed. The adequacy of the characteristic was verified by experimental studies on the test bench.
