Object of research: socio-humanitarian discourse of Great Britain, Germany and Russia during the First World War. The purpose of the study is to identify common and distinctive features of the formation of "the enemy image" in the socio-humanitarian discourse of Great Britain, Germany and Russia during the First World War (1914-1918). The methods used are the following: idiographic, comparative-historical, problem-chronological, historical-typological, historical-genetic. The scientific novelty of the investigation: the comprehensive comparative study of the formation of the "image of the enemy" in the historical cultures of Great Britain, Germany and Russia during the First World War; the thematic blocks in socio-humanitarian discourse and journalism are generalized, which, by intervening in the public space, constructed "narrative templates" for the formation of the "the enemy image". The practical value of the study: the materials of the investigation can be used in writing monographs, articles, textbooks, reference books, preparation of normative and special courses in world history, history of historical science, historiography, theory and methodology of history, history of philosophy. Field of using: educational process.
