The dissertation is devoted to the problem of ensuring equilibrium of the primary housing market in the process of its development. The current state of the primary housing market is analyzed, the problem of its imbalance is investigated, and mechanisms for its macroeconomic settlement are proposed. The scientific concepts of macroeconomic equilibrium in the aspect of investment and construction activities are generalized. The structural components of the supply and demand of the primary housing market, as well as their changes caused by socio-economic factors, are substantiated. Determinants of supply and demand for new housing are determined.
