Kushakova N. Management of innovative development of metallurgical industry of Ukraine

The thesis generalizes theoretical principles related to defining the nature and role of innovation, analyzes the directions of innovative industrial development and investigates the process of managing innovative development of industry. A comprehensive analysis of the current state and problems of metallurgy has been carried out and the problems are proposed to be solved by innovative development. A strategic analysis of the development of the metallurgical industry of Ukraine was conducted, which made it possible to propose ways of minimizing the negative impact on the further growth of the metallurgical complex. A model for management of innovative development of metallurgy has been proposed, which involves identification of a group of factors of influence and an internal block, the elements of which have been investigated by establishing the cause and effect relationships of the simulation model. Three probable scenarios for further development of the metallurgical industry have been developed: extensive, intensive and innovative, the effects of which have been estimated on the basis of forecasting of the industry's competitiveness.
