The dissertation is devoted to legal regulation of fixed-term employment relationship in Ukraine and its infl uence on the scope of legal guarantees of employees’ rights. The role and signifi cance of fixed-term employment contract in the sphere of employees’ labor rights are clarifi ed. Legal nature of fixed-term employment contract and its effectiveness for the right to work realization in Ukraine are ascertained. The legal guarantees of labor rights of employees during the conclusion, change and termination of fixed-term employment contract are studied.Сomparative legal analysis of the current labor laws of Ukraine was performed as well as of the drafts of the Labor Code of Ukraine was made, and on its basis propositions concerning the improvement of the mentioned relations legal regulation were presented.
