Mastylo A. Government Regulation of Economic Development of the Intellectual Property Market

This paper identifies general aspects of government regulation in the management system and the intellectual property market. The current state and place of the intellectual property market in the structure of the national economy are studied and the influence of financial investments on the modernization of the national economy and intellectual property market is determined based on diagnostics of innovation and investment development. The analysis of Ukraine’s international rating positions on indicators of protecting intellectual property rights is made and recommendations on the main vectors of adaptation of foreign experience of innovative development related to the transformation processes of the national economy and the specific institutional environment of Ukraine are made. The direct and indirect contribution of intellectual property to the GDP of different countries is revealed. Scientific and methodological approaches to improving the mechanism of government regulation of economic development of the intellectual property market and a comprehensive concept of government regulation of innovative development of the intellectual property market of Ukraine have been developed.
