The thesis is a study of problems of protection of the landholder and the landlord rights, aimed at finding the best ways to improve such protection and national legislation, improving the efficiency of human rights activities in the field of land relations. The thesis classifies the landholder and landlord's rights as an object of protection by the criterion of nature and the duration of interests related to them for economic, organizational, and both organizational economic and provides their legal characteristics The provisions on the harmonization of the legislation on land lease with international normative legal acts were further developed, in particular by defining the directions of balancing the protection of the rights of the landholder and the landlord based on the Principles of International Commercial Treaties; improvement of the protection of these rights under Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms;
