The dissertation is devoted to the essence of administrative services provided by bodies of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, outlines problems of its normative definition and practical implementation, proposals for improvement of the current legislation of Ukraine in this field and practice of its application, substantiation of the need to introduce into the national legal field the category of «administrative services provided bodies of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine»; optimization of the activity of bodies of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on the provision of administrative services in order to ensure the rights and freedoms of the individual and citizen. The proposals for improvement of the legislation governing the provision of administrative services by the units of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the practice of its implementation are substantiated.
