This thesis is devoted to the analysis of the Acts of Judicial authorities as the sources of modern administrative law. The content of the category «source of administrative law» is clarified through the prism of dividing them into groups depending on the subject of law-making. The features of the historical development of the institution of the «source of administrative law» are being figured out. The author's definition of the term «source of administrative law» is formulated and the composite elements of the system of sources of modern administrative law are studied. The factors that influence the formation of a modern system of sources of administrative law and the formation of its content are investigated. Police law, pre-revolutionary administrative law, Soviet administrative law and modern administrative law are being analyzed. The interdependence between the sources of law, the branch of law and the state (a form of government and organization) and the place of human rights in the hierarchical system of values that are protected by the state are characterized. The necessity of transforming the institution of sources of administrative law is proved
