The dissertation at the monographic level explores the theoretical and practical features of organizational and tactical support of the investigation of pimping committed by an organized group, as well as outlines and characterizes the constituent elements of the forensic characteristics of such a crime. Due to the scientific analysis, the concept of forensic characteristics of the investigated offense is formulated, the essence of the specified scientific category is defined, as well as its constituent elements are defined: the mode of committing the crime, the situation of the crime, the trace picture, the identity of the victim (leader and members of the organization). Typical ways of preparation, direct committing and concealing pimping are outlined. It is proved that in most cases there is a complete structural structure of the method, because in all cases organized groups apply separate elements of preparation and concealment. The situation is considered through a set of objective and subjective factors and material conditions, space-time characteristics of place and time. The following picture of pimping has been investigated. The structure of the criminal group was separated, the criminalistically significant features of the group and its members (perpetrators, the organizers of the crime) were identified, and the character of the victim was given. The peculiarities of the organization and planning of the investigation of pimping committed by an organized group are covered. The peculiarities of the initial stage of the investigation were determined, a list of circumstances to be established was formed. The basic typical investigative situations emerging at the initial stage of criminal proceedings and the appropriate action programs aimed at resolving them are offered.
