Bardachov V. Prevention of crimes committed by patrol officers in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of the criminological problems of crime prevention committed by employees of the patrol police of Ukraine. For the first time, the scientific task of developing a holistic practical approach to the formation of a strategy to prevent such crimes was posed and solved, which made it possible to substantiate proposals aimed at improving the legislation and practice of its application by the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. Peculiarities of historical development are revealed and the theoretical substantiation of the professional activity of the police patrol police is carried out. The approaches to the definition of the concept, signs and classification of crimes committed by the patrol police as a methodological basis for the development of the conceptual framework for preventing internal security units of the National Police of Ukraine are determined. The international legal framework and foreign experience in preventing crimes committed by police are examined, highlighting the most promising provisions for implementation in the legal field of Ukraine. The structure and dynamics of such crimes are characterized. The content of determinants contributing to the criminalization of this sphere of public relations is disclosed. A conceptual vision of ways to implement legal and organizational preventive measures at the national, special criminological and individual preventive levels is proposed
