Kovaliuk A. Substantiation and improvement of diagnostics and methods of orthopedic treatment of teeth deformations in patients with defects of dentitions.

205 patients were examined during the study. For an objective clinical assessment of preparation for prosthetics and orthopedic treatment used the proposed schemes and tables for adjusting the masticatory efficiency, obtained on the basis of computer calculation of the contact area of antagonist teeth, performed biometric measurements, evaluated condylographic data and changes in oral hygiene in patients with dental deformities. According to the results of the analysis of treatment of patients with dentition defects and maxillofacial deformities, the effectiveness of using individual removable splints according to the proposed method of preparing the dental system for prosthetics, as evidenced by a significant (p <0.05) improvement of the studied indicators at each stage, and namely the change of trajectories in the temporomandibular joint, reducing the prevalence of major clinical complaints and symptoms of pain dysfunction, partial or complete normalization of the distances between selected surfaces and improving the indices of oral hygiene and periodontal tissue.
