Aliabieva O. Organizational and economic mechanism of the innovative development of seaports

Thesis paper is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological frameworks and practical guidelines regarding to the formation of organizational and economic mechanism of the innovative development of seaports to increase efficiency of their activity and competitiveness. Theoretical framework of the innovative development of the enterprises is improved. Definition of the categories “innovations” and “innovative developments” is provided. The impact factors on the innovative development are defined and its most full classification is provided. Expected results from the introduction of different types of innovation for transport enterprises are structured. The advisability of issue consideration on the development of methodological approach to the evaluation of the innovative development of seaports is proved. The main development trends of the world transport complex are defined; the innovative development of the leading world seaports is considered and analyzed; the modern state of the seaports of Ukraine is studied and the level of its innovative development is defined. Organizational and economic mechanism of the innovative development of seaports is structured. Its practical use enables to make sound decisions according to the advisability of the introduction of innovative projects, basing on the complex analysis of mechanism’s activity and evaluation of the innovative capacity. Methodological approach to the evaluation of the innovative development of seaports is developed. It is based on the integrated index and enables to define level and formulate directions of the innovative development of seaports. Testing of the proposed methodological approach is realized on the example of three seaports, which make concessionary agreements and are interested in the development of the innovative constituent.
