The dissertation is devoted to formation and development of theoretical and applied bases of national economy transformation processes on the basis of design-management. Theoretical approaches to the national economy transformation on the basis of design-management are generalized. The principles and mechanism of design-management implementation are studied. The methodological bases on the tools of state regulation of the national economy on the basis of design-management are expanded. The current state and development trends of the Ukraine’s national economy are monitored. A comprehensive assessment of the national economy transformation processes on the basis of design-management in the context of the image economy formation. The mechanism of the national economy transformation processes on the basis of design-management is characterized. The strategic concept of the national economy development in the focus of design-management is studied. Economic transformations drivers in providing functionality of strategic development design of national economy are defined. Reengineering of economic transformations management as a basic precondition of the strategic country's development purposes realization is investigated.
