Yevstafiev S. Institutional regulation of corporate mergers and acquisitions in the national economy

The dissertation is devoted to the deepening of theoretical and methodological and development of scientific and practical recommendations for improving the institutional regulation of corporate mergers and acquisitions for the development of the national economy. Scientific views on the economic content of corporate mergers and acquisitions in the context of their regulation in the national economy are developed; the motives of corporate mergers and acquisitions from the standpoint of behavioral and process approaches are identified and systematized and the content and features of their institutional regulation are revealed on this basis. The modern trends of mergers and acquisitions of companies to ensure the competitiveness of the economy are identified and characterized; the world experience of national regulation of corporate mergers and acquisitions is generalized. In order to form a mechanism to protect the national interests of Ukraine's economy from the manifestation of the negative consequences of corporate mergers and acquisitions, a method for assessing the feasibility of their implementation has been developed. The strategic imperatives of making state decisions in the processes of mergers and acquisitions to strengthen the positive effects of their implementation to increase the competitiveness of the national economy are substantiated; a set of scientific and practical recommendations for improving the mechanism of institutional regulation of corporate mergers and acquisitions in the national economy has been formed.
