Khomyk M. Clinical-diagnostic markers of the formation of peculiarities of the course and efficiency of the complex treatment of generalized periodontitis

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the development of generalized periodontitis (GP) of chronic course of the initial-I and II-III degrees (84 persons) and to the development of a method of improvement of the effectiveness of its treatment. It is revealed that in patients with GP clinical indices change, cytomorphodensitometry decrease and karyological indices of buccal epitheliocytes increase, as well as immunocytogenetic parameters of peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is proved that the use of the offered method of treatment of GP contributed to the regulation of all the studied parameters of cells, nuclei and chromosomes, as well as the achievement of remission, which allows us to recommend it for use in practical dentistry.
