Maksymchuk V. Integrated monitoring system for Ukrzaliznytsia’s railroad facilities and management equipment

This thesis addresses issues of developing integrated monitoring system for Ukrzaliznytsia’s railroad facilities and management equipment in context of engineering requirements, implementation principles, product development and deployment. Equipment handling of local digital monitoring devices at more than 150 railroad substation has been analyzed. Urgent demand for enhancement in quantity and quality of their functions as well as merging of those devices in one multilevel information system were shown. New mathematical model for RSC sytem's elements was developed. Method for automatic monitoring of RSC operating modes parameters with fault location function has been devised. Specifications, design concept, functions and structure of multi-functional integrated monitoring system for Ukrzaliznytsia’s railroad facilities and management equipment have been provided. Introduction of system’s first sample on 3 Ukrzaliznytsia’s traction substations basis has made it possible to provide operating personnel with reliable data about state and operating modes of controlled energy objects.
