Sheibut D. Public administration in the sphere of migration in Ukraine

The paper describes the theoretical approaches to the concept of migration, considers migration rights and human freedoms through the prism of national security and taking into account the proportionality of these concepts, suggests ways to improve public administration in the sphere of migration. Public administration entities in the sphere of migration have been identified. Using the method of legal analysis and synthesis, it is generalized that each subject of public administration in the sphere of migration has its own characteristic powers, which are determined by their administrative and legal status and are to protect the interests of the state and ensure the rights and freedoms of persons for free choice of residence.
