The dissertation develops theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations for the formation of organizational and economic mechanism for the use of benchmarking in the activities of agricultural enterprises. The essence of the definition of "benchmarking" is deepened, the system of using benchmarking in the activity of an agricultural enterprise is considered. The system of organizational support for the use of benchmarking in the process of managing the activities of agricultural enterprises is presented. The basic principles of implementation of benchmarking in their activity of the agricultural enterprises which will provide process of constant improvement of their development are substantiated. The use of benchmarking in the formation of enterprise development strategy on the basis of a systems approach is proposed. An organizational and economic model of benchmarking in the activities of agricultural enterprises, aimed at the effective integration of valuable information on the best methods of organizing the production process in the use of benchmarking technology to achieve maximum results of agricultural enterprises. An organizational and economic mechanism for the use of benchmarking in the activities of agricultural enterprises with the separation of a set of its components, interconnected by a system of sequential actions to implement the best methods of organizing the production process to obtain economic, social, innovative and consumer effects.
