The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of administrative and legal regulation of security activity in Ukraine. According to the results of the study, a number of conclusions, proposals and recommendations proposed by the applicant personally were formulated. The concept and structure of the mechanism of administrative and legal regulation of security activities in Ukraine are defined. The range of subjects of administrative and legal regulation of security activities in Ukraine is outlined. Forms and methods of administrative and legal regulation of security activities in Ukraine are described. Foreign experience of administrative and legal regulation in the field of security activities is considered. The directions of development of administrative and legal regulation of security activity in Ukraine are determined and proposals on improvement of the current national legislation are formed.
